Let’s be straightforward with you: most electrical companies won’t publish their prices online. We think that’s wrong.
You’re doing research. You want to know if we’re in your budget before you pick up the phone. That’s completely reasonable — and that’s exactly why this page exists.
We can’t cover every possible job here, but we can walk you through our most common services so you know what to expect before we ever set foot in your home.

We tell you what's needed — and what isn't — before work begins.
Service Calls: Free Quote vs. Troubleshooting
First, it helps to know which type of call you need — because they’re priced differently.
Free Quote Visit
$0 — No charge
If you already know what you need, that's a free quote visit. You're not guessing — you know you need a panel upgrade, an EV charger, or a new circuit. We come out, confirm the scope, and give you an upfront price. No charge for that visit.
Troubleshooting / Diagnostic
Starts at $170
If something isn't working and you don't know why, that's troubleshooting. Some call it a diagnostic. We have to diagnose first, then quote the fix. Here's what that looks like:
First 15–30 minutes$170
First 30–60 minutes$260
Includes travel within Kingston
Good news: in our experience, we solve the problem during the same visit more often than not. So that diagnostic fee frequently covers the whole job.
You'll usually see a journeyperson and apprentice working together. Sometimes one, sometimes both — either way, the same standard of work applies
EV Charger Installation
This is one of our most requested services, and the price depends on one main factor: how far the charger is from your electrical panel

One thing worth knowing: that distance isn't measured in a straight line. Wire has to travel up walls, across ceilings, and around obstacles. We measure the actual route — not the crow-flies distance — so there are no surprises when we arrive.
What if you have a fuse panel or an older Federal Pioneer panel?
You'll need a panel upgrade before we can safely install an EV charger. Here's what those typically cost:
Panel Replacement:
Updating to a modern 200 Amp breaker panel
~$4,000+
Starting price
Overhead Service Upgrade:
Replacing mast, meter base, and wiring from meter base to panel
~$3,000+
Starting price
These are often done together, and we’ll always tell you what’s needed — and what isn’t — before any work begins.
